Prayers please
As some of you know and some of you don't, my wife has been going thru treatment for breast cancer. Tomorrow she will be having a double masectomy and reconstruction surgery all at once. The surgery is supposed to last 10-12 hrs, any surgery is scary but a lengthy one like that is especially worrisome. I'd just like to ask all of you that believe in the power of prayer to ask the Lord to keep watch over Julie tomorrow, and guide the doctors and nurses who will be taking care of her. I firmly believe he will see her thru this surgery and that her body will be healed and there will be no cancer remaining. I appreciate all the thoughts and prayers more than you all know.

Prayer
Hevenly Father,
I come to you this hour with a humble heart to lift up to you Julie, at this time of need. Father you are the Great Physician and I ask that Your hand be with the doctors and Lord I ask that You will guide their hand and give them the skills needed to perform the needed surgery. Lord I praise You for the faith of her husband. And Heavenly Father I pray that Your will be done in this situation. I know you are a God of Goodness and Mercy and Father I ask for a measure of Your Grace. I trust in You my Lord and I'll thank You and praise You in the name of your Blessed Son JESUS CHRIST...AMEN and Amen.

Great news! Now comes the hard part...getting her out of bed and on the road to recovery. Patience, patience, and more patience along with some gentle pushing

Julie has had a good day today! Not a lot of pain, but she still has her morphine pump. She will be losing that tomorrow and switching her over to pills. She has set up twice in the chair for about 30 minutes at a time and the plan is to get her up and walking some tomorrow. Hopefully the pain remains manageable for her. I still appreciate all the prayers and well wishes as she will have to remain in the hospital until Saturday and they still have a minor procedure to do Saturday morning. Thank you all again for everything.

I am still sending prayers for a great recovery. I am sure there are plenty more members praying for you all.

Pathology reports all came back that the cancer was all gone from the chemo treatments! We are pretty excited about that little tidbit of information. Now just gotta get her all healed up from this surgery and hopefully things will kinda return to normal, whatever normal is :dono Hoping it leads to more of this :fish Thanks for all the prayers!
