Submersible light build
Finally got some time and built an led submersible light. These things are stinking bright! Ill try and get some pics posted up soon. Stole the idea off of a guy on here and boy was it a good one. Gonna make up a bunch of them in the next couple of weeks. If anyone is interested in one let me know

Man! Those look great! We need a materials list and some basic instructions please.
They look durable. The one I bought last year is kind of dainty and I am afraid I am going to break the thing!

3/4" pvc pipe
1 1/2" clear pvc.
2) 3/4" pvc caps.
2) 1 1/4" pvc caps
5m waterproof LED light strips with 3m backing. (Green)
sand
pvc primer and cement
duct tape (gorilla tape)
silicone
cut 3/4" pvc to length and fill with sand. Glue on both pvc caps. Then i wrapped the whole thing with the LED light strips. The 5meter strip did about 2 and a half foot light. Once secured i wrapped the very ends in duct tape so it would hold the end of the strips plus it made the 3/4 caps fit snug inside the clear pvc. I didnt want them bouncing around. Next wrap the end of the clear pvc in duct tape til the 1 and 1/4" pvc cap fits snug. They dont make a cap that is exactly 1.5" inside diameter so I beefed up my clear pvc to make the caps fit. (You could probably order the right caps. Glue on one cap with the pvc cement. When it dries caulk the slight gap where the cap and clear pvc is to water seal it. Drill a hole in the other cap (the side with the led wires) and run wires in. Connect the wires. Glue on that cap and water seal it the same way. Then caulk the hole you drilled around the wire. Ide then tie a string to it to help pull it into the boat without damaging the wires. You will also have to fasten a weight on the other side. The sand will help it sink and will let you get by with a smaller weight. If you have any questions just ask. Oh and apparently the 5050 leds are brighter than the 3528 which i got. Dont ask what the numbers mean haha. Ebay for most items and shop around. You can find em cheaper from dif. People. These two lights cost me around $50. I could have probably had 3 for about $55 looking back
