Trip was a bust, Tuesday evening we fished hard did not catch anything but some small catfish, dragging jig and crawler for eyes, Up early Wed on the water before sun up. Same results two short eyes, one 8 lb channel. Heat stopped morning fishing at 1130. Went back out at 1800 put in at The East ramp. On way out scoped a mass of fish hanging in the creek channel at 20fow. looked like crappie stacked up. Dropped a jig down got hit hard boated a white bass. Thought okay not crappie white bass, dropped down again got hit hard boated a 4 pound drum. We then caught drum from 3 to 6 pounds as quick as you could take on of the hook and drop it back in. Fun but not what we lookin for. Stopped foolin with da drum and went chasing eyes. Same results as am couple of shorts, but no real action.
Okay back out crack of Dawn on Thursday, we fished hard again in areas we were told had been holding fish, not for us I guess, caught two keepers only and not many bites, a few channels one weight about 10 pounds or better. That was it. Heat drove us off at 1230, we decided to call it a bad trip and head home Thur.

Guess I'm glad I didn't make it up there!! Just kidding! Sorry you didn't have better luck. Going up for 4 days in July, hopefully by then the summer bite will be on at the Glen too!
-
BD, did you target any crappies?? I'll be out there this Sun. thru Tues. <*)}}}><

Did not try crappie much, made one trip to the dam to see if any where there did not have a bite there. Lakeside convenience store selling one pound of medium minnows for 18.00 great buy for about 200 minnows.
