Anyone ever tried pulling em for crappie
You mean like a spinner bait?
They use them for smallmouth up at Dale Hollow , TN
Yeah they ae like a spinnebait but have a ton of vibration, bet you could put a weight on em and catch em.
It is a combination between a bass pig-n-jig and a spinnerbait......I use the 3/8 oz and the 1/2 oz for bass and have very good results on the largemouth bass......they vibrate like crazy....I would guess a small one would work for crappie.....I catch a lot of crappie on a white spinnerbait rolled slowly.....
has anyone ever tried pulling 2 crankbaits on one line like spiderigging? wouldnt it work if you spaced them far enough apart. I know that the chance for tangles would be huge, but so could be the rewards.
when will it end, some of you guys have 200-300 crank baits, every spider rig set up made by man, every rod real combo known to man and now you want to fish with green carp type baits. go figure.........
John....I have caught some pulling Erie Dearies.....that's a Waleye bait
300, wow, i only got six, two blacks, two pinks, and two more i have not a clue. guess i better stay home and wait fer minner season... thanks for the heads up...
Windstone, I was pushing 3 trolling rods 12' long with 1 1/2 ounce of barrel sinkers, swivel tied below the sinkers and a 6' leader tied to the other end of the swivel, then a snaplock swivel at the end of the leader hooked to a Bandit Sometime I would have 3 crappie on at the same time! Now how much more work than that do you want. You have great depth control cause the weight takes the bandit down to the depth you want to fish. I was reading fish at 15ft.My pole was 12'. I let the sinker down to the end of my rod handle then pull out 2 to 3 more feet of line and I was on the money!Them blacks and pinks are catching them!
I made a 2 arm kinda umbrella rig out of 1/8 welding rod with 2 30in. leaders attached to the cranks. It had about a 8 in. spread, and it actually caught 2 at one time the first time I tried it.
