looking good :cheers2
PUtting them squirrels to good use, I see. Good job, just in time for the Spawn too.
They look good! Anxious to get out with the fly rod myself pretty soon.
Should work for you. What size hooks are you using? Some look a little long for the fly, but other than that they should catch them.
They all look good but X2 with Skip on the hook length. The only other thing is in your first pic the one on the right - round off the back corners a bit, bugs don't have square butts!!LOL
Good work. As others said a smaller hook like a #12 oe #14 will get a ton more looks and bites.
Why do that when a trip to hobby lobby will land all you want in many colors?
yellowjacket they look like they should fill the stringer just fine sir, nice job
thanks for all the comments guys, im not sure what size the hooks aree my uncle gave me a bunch of fly hooks and i couldnt read the hook size on the box, Snake river i have caught a few bluegills so far on them, but it has rained alot here latley and made the pond i fly fish muddy as all get out, looks like a glass of choclate milk!!!
Get yourself a hook and hackle gauge (both come on same thing) and you can always tell what size a fly hook is. However the main problem with yours was you used one too long for what you made. So all you need to if making the same one again is use a shorter hook. If you want to get into fly tying you need to buy hooks in sizes and shape you need.
