i just called humminbird and switched back to 6.490. hope the new 6.640 update works, ill wait for reviews lol
I guess I update tomorrow and see......
Be sure and read FAQ about these updates. If you have 2 units connected with Ethernet you must update both or they will no longer communicate. I'm going to wait and see some screenshots and feedback before I change.
It also talks about updating the ipilot link remote? Anybody done that yet?
I read the FAQ about this update and I see Nothing about fixing the imaging issues......

I called Humminbird a few months back and they emailed me a copy of 6.49.
Humminbird can send you a copy of the older software or if they cannot I can. You would have to send me a direct e-mail (not a pm) that includes the full model name of your unit and the version of software you want. Keep in mind that if you load a version of software older than what your unit was built with than it may stop working. The unit would have to be returned to Humminbird to be fixed (not under warranty).
