Hey guys,
I've got a problem with the 50 horse motor on my G3 175. Any recommendations on where to take it? I don't mind driving to Little Rock, Ft. Smith, Hot Springs, or Texarkana. Just want to get it done right.
Thanks,
Fred

Place in Scott, I think, that people like. I haven't used it.
I used H20 Sports on Rixey Rd in NLR, AR last week on my Merc (they also do Yammy's) and they were reasonable, fast, and fixed it perfectly.
I used Brooks marine in litttle rock last time and was very unsatisfied.
Anybody know about Hot Springs Marina? They're a G-3 dealer but I don't know 'em.
Brooks marine has done some work for me and was fast
Sounds like Brook's can be marked off the list. :ThumbsUp Thanks for helping Gindog out, Cmj. Nap sounds good right now!
I have a Yamaha 90 right now at h2o
Super good guys!
question where are you located ? and what's the problem ?
K & K Marine.

Mc boats in Conway is where I took my Yamaha , they are a certified Yamaha repair facility, they will get it fixed and done right but get ready to dig deep into your poket
I live in Mena at the moment. Preparing to move to Hot Springs Village.
She starts fine. But then she bogs down halfway into the throttle. I've checked my lines. I keep spare filters but they look good (I just love the gas now). My water intake and outflow is fine. I can only figure one of my carbs is gummed up.
Carbs need cleaning. I see it every day.
That's what I figured. Makes a person cranky after babying her since she was my first brand new boat. :banghead
Thank you for giving me a heads up. I've put in a few phone calls. I'll be taking her in later today or tomorrow. Everything else is packed up, why not the boat. White Flag Icon
Call Ken's Marine in Hot Springs. He's not a Yamaha dealer, but is a good shop. And close to HSV.
It was mentioned before, but Riverside Marine in Scott. Tom Booth is THE MAN!!! I had trouble with a couple of guys in Sherwood, NLR, and LR. 1 guy called before I even got home saying it was done. When I took it out on the water the next day, I guess he had just sprayed a little carb cleaner in there, and called it good, and charged me a Ben Franklin for nothing.
I only go to Tom now, might take a couple days extra, but he is good... REAL GOOD.

everybody needs to remember one more thing,,,,,, the water seperator filter is made of metal, and after some water sets in there for awhile ....well you know what water does to metal !! the water goes to the bottom and the rust forms and goes into the thingy that makes the prop spin and then people cuss and throw fit's n such as that !! just sayin
