Nice lookin fish Semo! Went for bout 2 hrs this afternoon ended with 13 keepers. Changed jig colors humpteen times til they finally started hittin purple and white.
I can't give away 30 year old family secrets, but pick a color and stick with. These fish are changing cover type so fast right now you can't even be sure you put a given color in front of a fish. I fish a particular 1.5" tube jig, with a 1/16 head. My dad has been using our combo on reelfoot forever. I filled a cooler out of very shallow grass (<8")one day, but the next day there wasn't a fish to be found. Moved 100yards to timber in 3' of water and tore em up.Quote:
