Lost my fishing buddy.
Guys I don,t post much, last couple of years due to the nature of my work and the weather I have not Crappie fished much either. I did a little White Bass chasing while the run was on this spring. My Son, William Joseph and I, got to go together about 3 weeks ago, we had a day of fishing that most Father's would give their right arm to experience. Little did I know it would be our last.
My wife Diane and I need your prayers for strength. William died in a one vehicle accident early Saturday morning and vehicle burned completly. I don't question God's will, we now depend on him for strength. Thank you for all the prayers I know you will be providing.

Don't know you Fishbaskett, but you and yours are in my prayers. I trust that you are experiencing the sufficiency of God's grace in your sorrow. I read a story years ago about a pastor who was working on a sermon when his son entered the pastor's office. The young boy asked his dad about the picture that was on his desk. "Who is he," the boy asked. The father said, "He was my pastor when I was young." "Where is he, now," the boy asked. "He's dead," said the father. "No," said the boy' "he died, but he's not dead." The pastor/father said he learned a great faith-lesson that day. He died, but he lives now in the heavenly home. I trust you'll have that faith-picture in your mind about your son. And the glorious news is that you'll see him again!

Fishbasket, I lost my daughter in 2000 @5:05 A.M. July 3rd. from breast cancer. She never smoked a day in her life. I had great plans for that fourth of July. It never happened. All I can say is I am getting better but never want to completely heal and take a chance of forgetting. I miss my girl every day but know I will see Chardon again. Keep the memories in your heart and know that there is a GOD above and he will make it possible for you to see your son again. My prayers are with you.
