Those are some pigs! Great job Scott and Steve.
Were yall using worms or crickets?
Those are big enough to filet. Sho would cover a piece of bread.
ummmm,where was my invite?
Thanks Sat. Im not sure if that is a decoy or not...gotta watch them two
Them some bulls there. Congrats.
Carol likes them whole but after scaling 4 I went to filleting them, she will just have to eat them like that. Her favorite eating fish. Now Okatibbee bream I don't mind scaling, they are about 1/2 the size of these.
Those are Real Nice Mr. Steve for sure. I dont blame ya for going to the filet method with the size of hogs.
Some monster bream for sure. WTG guys!!
That's freakin awesome
I scaled about 10 and was worn out. The rest got fileted like a crappie. We used crickets under a cork about 18 inches.
Way to go guys looking real good.
Nice going, bet that was fun.I have one of those elec. scalers makes it easy.
Does Griswold make a skillet that'll hold those if u don't filet them?
They're so dadgum thick they'd take forever to cook whole. I sure had a great time catching them though.
Gewbers I tell ya....big bream catching gewbers
Ain't nothing like them big ole brim . they wham .
Some Fine table fair for sure. Mmm
Those my friend are some big bull blues!!!!! Good job guys! They look like they ran head on into a stump running wide open!!!!!:biggrin

Great mess of fish guys. Bet those buggers would wear you out on a 4 wt fly rod.

COST OF A GUIDED TRIP ?:biggrin
Great when them gills got "foreheads". Nice pics Scotty. thx.
I can't believe I have never taken a picture of my dad's but he homeade one out of metal and screws with the ends blunted off. It takes 7 minutes to scale 75 bream. about half the time to do crappie. I told him he should have started a business making them and then I could have retired as well. I have seen several people with the ones made out of a plastic barrel but this thing is heavy duty and has worked like a champ for over 25 years now. I will get a picture and post some time.
If any scaler would have scaled these fish, it would be a good one. These scales were put on with super glue.
