I saw it. They used small Rapalas. Floating and countdown models. 1 1/2" and 2" sizes. I think they were trolling them and catching some Monsters!
Where were they fishing, and how big is a monster?

Is that an estimate or did they weigh them? Did they say where they were fishing?
It was up north somewhere. I think they were in Minnesota.

Already do it in IL. Using bNm trolling rod off the port side while fishing (16ft). Have 2oz bank sinker on bottom up 15 to 24 inches and tie in a three way swivel, Then tie in a 4ft section of fluoro make a spinner rig (walleye style or small rapala). Tear up crappies and gills.
The show was a different presentation that would work
