me and a buddy went to cypress this morning. caught 24. all were caught on shiners. found one ole boat house that was holding fish.

The King of Cypress does it again. Nice going Doc, I see you haven't loss your touch. I love fishing structure weather stumps, fallen trees, or boat houses, it's the greatest.

That is a nice catch Doc. The family went to Cypress this afternoon, did not catch a sac but Carolyn caught the biggest chinquapin I have ever seen.
We ended up with 16 big bream and 12 nice eating whole size catfish, caught the catfish on shiners.
The boat houses I have been fishing all had people on them and many had skiers coming in and out so we just fished the banks across from the launch.
We had a great time together and that is what counts the most.

out of the 24, about 16 were males. but the 8 or so females did have eggs. i think they might have been left over eggs or mabye gonna lay again because they were not rolling with eggs. just a little bit in each female.Quote:

A shiner below a slip cork is big fun for me. Much rather do that then drop shot them.
