my wife and i came home last week to our house on fire. We lost almost everything. We are in an apartment now, but a little bummed. I lost almost 400 bucks in jig tying materials. i have used this site alot in the past and know you guys are a great group. could anyone help me out and share your materials with me. i need thread and any other materials you can spare. if you can help out, please pm me and i will give you my address. thank you in advance
That's terrible mncrappie! I hate to think of what I'd do if fire was to rip thru my place. My tying stuff would be such a small thing in comparison but still, to loose it all would be tough! Sorry for your troubles.
Read psalms 30:5 and know that you were still blessed because YOU and YOUR FAMILY did not perish in the fire. Things are just things and can be replaced. I will keep you and your family in prayer. Remember JOB lost everything but he did not lose his faith. Because of thhat, God restored him 200 fold. I have not tied in years since I started doing soft plastic. I have some thread (Flat waxed) and Marabou for you.
That is terrible as a fire is not something that passes over things that are truly important to us an not replaceable like pictures and important things that have meaning. To loose that kind of stuff is really sad.
i will look around, but can't promise anything as my materials are very much needed and most of what I have that may be extra are fly tying stuff and not helpful to a jig tyer.

Hey PM me your address. I just got in a bunch of Chartreuse Salt Water Hackle and I probably have some marabou I can spare too. Thread, not sure, but will look and maybe a few other goodies.
