Ok I gotta know what is this and why all of a sudden all the fishing reports claim this is the "It" to catch crappie with? Anyone feel like putting a pic up so I can see what this magic looks like? Probably been using it for years and didn't know the hip name for it!:Rofl
This hasn't "suddenly" happened. I have lived within ten miles of KY Lake al my life and have been using KY Lake Green curly tails for probably 30 years. All my stuff is in the boat in my shop so no photos.Quote:

It's a lime / emerald color
Ones we use are hunter green with black fleck. 2" with a wide tail.
So a darker green with Speckle is the Kentucky Lake Green variety. As suspected I have been using these for years, just didn't know the right name. I had been lurking around the forum a good while but somehow not heard of the moniker till this spring. LOL. Thanks all. Is it legal to use these in other lakes (Kidding)Quote:

We caught over 100 just this Wednesday alone but none of them on the colors that you like. :biggrin

Nothing wrong with your colors,just saying they weren't Kentucky Lake Green. Nothing wrong with 100 fish this year either as long as your having fun, but as Quackr pointed out, might want to come a little stronger if your going to throw down the gauntlet like that. I could post a bunch of pics and numbers too, but honestly don't care, didn't mean any harm. I don't even fish curlytails, cast jigs or long line or anything involving curly tails.Quote:
