Did mine this evening as well. Tomorrow I have to put on my waders and spray my pond.

I hope you're buying from the co-op or tri-county.
Part of mine gets the push mower with grass bag. Some of it gets the riding mower, some gets the bush hog and some gets the tiller.
The only part that gets the extra care is the gardens and flowerbeds.
I kept mine up for years but decided I liked fishing better than spraying my lawn. Jerkin meat now sprays mine, and not a weed to be found. Perhaps you should let him do it, he needs to pay for that new boat!

Just tell the little honey that when you come in from fishing that you expect to see that the grass has been mowed lol......you will probably be able to open one eye in about a week.
I can help u do it a lot cheaper than that. Roundup and premerge early early spring, MSMA in hot summer, premerge again October. Repeat and u won't need the MSMA aftera couple years. The fall premerge is the best.Quote:

KDavid I use a service for the front half of mine. When I put a pencil to it there was no comparison when you look at price of chemicals and labor. Now the Boss is much happier. Let JM fix you up.
I've been spraying mine for the past three years. i can usually get everything under control pretty well as long as I spray early feb. but the fall is the best way to knock everything out. Buying a zero turn and mowing 4 or 5 yards on the side to pay the sucker off... Cuts way down on mowing time

I got JM ph number so gonna see what he can do. I really don't mind mowing--keeps me from sitting on the couch--I just hate the weeds. Plus when it's all in Bermuda you don't have to mow as much (doesn't look bad when you miss a week or two) I can say I'd rather have a big yard with with neighbors not right on top of me but the way my lot is laid out they are still closer than I want:)
