Last night Matts Grandpa had a heart attack and passed away very unexpectedly. He was a great man and well respected in the Odessa community. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Thanks everyone! Surely appreciate it! Me and grandpa done a lot together! Lots of duck/goose hunting and plenty of fishing! He was a bass fishing fanatic! Loved to bass fish and watch/read B.A.S.S! He was my weekday fishing partner and even more importantly got too eat lunch with him every day! He enjoyed that more than anything! But he didn't suffer and is in a better place now! So don't ever take a day for granite and live life to the fullest and cherish every moment you spend with your friends and family! God bless all!
God must have loved fishermen he made lots of fish and water for fishermen to catch them in!! Prayers sent!!!
I can remember eating lunch everyday with my grandparents..Those memories still make me smile. Thoughts and prayers for you family.

Sorry to here of your loss Matt. Fond memories will last a lifetime! I still think of time spent fishing working ect with both my gramps, been 33 years.

Matt, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Grandpas are very special people and it is tough when you lose one, I've lost both of mine. I spent a lot of time hunting and fishing with mine as well and I still think very often of some of those times. That is what you have to hold onto is all the good times and memories. I'll be praying for you and your family during this difficult time and if you need anything please don't hesitate to ask, I'll help anyway I can.

So sorry to hear it Matt. It is always tough losing a family member but makes it even tougher when it is someone that is that close to you. Sounds like you have a lot of good memories of some great times with him. A lot of people never get to have that. So cherish your memories of the all the good days of fishing and shooting ducks and he will be looking down on you now still sharing your good times afield.
