Got here early this afternoon and got things set up. Not wanting to waste any time, I put the boat in the water and started fishing. Didn't take long to land my first one!

Better hang on to it, some folks make poor boy shrimp out of them. May need it if the temps drop into the 30's like forecast says.

All I caught was males. Fished visible cover, what I could find. Had a relaxing afternoon of just enjoying being here and had the bonus of a few fish. I caught over 10 red eyed river bass(kentuckies) and more drum than I care to mention. It was a good day!
Daylight on Wednesday will bring on some serious fishing.
Had a great conversation with Crappie Greg tonight. Shared some stories and some good laughs.
This is already a great trip!!
