Went down green today we got our limit. Man they were bitin. Fishin n 4-5 fow bout 3ft deep. Water temp was 57 and stained a little where was fishin . Some places it was MUDDY.

Not much luck today, fished about 1 mile below Holmes Bend, got 2 nice ones right off and then nothing. Water there was 55 to 56, went above Holmes Bend across from the Marina and fished some trash, no luck but the water was 62.5. Lots of junk in the water and murky, not muddy. Talked to couple of other fishermen and they had 5 or so. They said before today had limited out for last couple days. Also said that water closer to the dam was muddier, didn't see it so not sure how dirty it is.
Well I didnt catch my limit but we just need 3 to make it. Had 57.
Friday it was starting to get stained from the bridge back up the creeks. Saturday it was stained from fisher to just pass whiteoak and muddy passed the bridge. Sunday, not sure about up above Holmes. Went towards the dam. From about corbins bend up passed houseboat cove it was stained. Only clear water was from Holmes to buffalo.Quote:

Glad someone was getting them, fished yesterday, got 7 and 1 blue gill. Went back today and only caught one and it was 8 1/2", it was on a road runner. Fished till after 1 PM and only 1 bite, so tried Jimmy Houston's tried and true road runner with a white minner and caught a nice 3 lb bass and 1 about 14" and a nice 4 lb channel cat on it with 5 throw backs on the bass, so day wasn't a complete wash. Any day fishing is good even if they don't bite.

Nice haul.
Fished Green on Monday the 15th. Myself and my Dad ended up catching over 100 fish but kept 48 for the trip home. Actually caught some decent keepers. Caught them in 7 fow about 3 to 6 feet deep on jigs - spiderrigging. Color of jigs really didn't matter but blue/white and rootbeer seemed a little better. Overall a great day- Dad enjoyed getting out.
