I have rarely caught fish after 9:00pm.
It seems you can always catch fish at dusk, sometimes continuing for a while then at least by 9 or so it's over...
Very few times have I stayed all night catching fish.
How about you folks..?

Used to catch Bass on Conway all night sometimes fishing spinnerbaits. Years ago we used to fish yoyo is about only way I have Crappie fished at night. Even my Catfishing with poles is done during the day.
I did some night fishing on the east side of the lake, back before they supposedly moved onto the Cypress. I did well from dusk til 8 or 9, then really good from12-4. The numbers weren't always good, but almost all were in the 1 3/4 - 2 1/2lb range. This is a sure-fire way to beat the crowds on Conway from Fall to Spring.
Turn the lights on!!!!
Green light !!!
10/4 on the lights... I have not been able to tell a difference with colors..
Now days I have a 12v florescent work light, it's easy on the batteries...
Did NIMROD say yo-yo?
Yes he did!!!!
It is a good way to beat the crowds, however if you have not fished Conway in the spring, summer,or fall at night you will be in for a treat, the stump gnats are so thick you can't breath, so if you are going to Conway at night and the temps are warm between spring and summer and fall, don't eat supper, you will get full on all the stump gnats you will wind up eating.
Best yoyo-in I've ever done has been after 0100.
Yep, you definitely gotta stay stocked up on the OFF if you are going to brave Conway at night!!
Went the last 2 weekends and pulled all nighters running yoyo's. Caught about half our finish last night on jig poles all night long
We used to fish rod and reels on the Mississippi River at night. We would catch fish till 9 or so and then the bite always picked up around midnight. We would fish till around 4 am before heading to the ramp. We caught some good flatheads after midnight
