2013 Buggs Bash

I guess if Im gonna post my first message ever on here this would be the one. This year was the 4th year heading to Kerr/Buggs Island for the Crappie.com tournament. After finishing .02 oz. short last year to finsh 2nd. This year we went back for redemption. After cold rain Thursday and*muddy waters. Friday we set our game plan and where to go. Fridays prefish day proved to us this was going to be no easy task. Saturday morning we made one last decision in the 11th hour. Which proved to be the right one. If there is one thing about fishing its patiences. Not that I landed this fish but it is gratifying to have this tournament winning 1lb 10oz. fish brought aboard the boat. Congratulations to my coangler*Joseph Meiss
*and becoming the 2013 Crappie.com Buggs Island Bash Champion. I guess next year we'll have to go back to defend the title.

Congrats! Did anyone get a photo? I got to Buggs Friday and was on the water around 545 in the afternoon.. caught two casting jigs, thought sat would be on, did it jigs only and ended up with two crappie one dink one keeper "10.5" and one keeper got off right at the boat. Also had a 1.69lb white bass.

I had a good time fishing. Maybe next year we could see who catches the smallest crappie. I'm sure I would win. Looking forward to doing another Bash. Also I would like to tell TapOut THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!

It was great to see everyone again! We decided since we didnt have any fish with any size we would keep fishing. It was a slow day but would pick one up every once and a while sunday was the same but didnt fish long. Girlfriend lost a hog probably 2.5 right at the boat made us both sick lol!! Look forward to the next one!!! Burnt Mills?????

It was good talking to you at the bash sat. Sorry we missed the weigh inn. It seems like most had trouble finding the fish, so most guys fished till dark. Hope to see ya at the next bash. Don't let some others give you a hard time. You are always welcome to fish with us!!!!!!!!!!! Tight Lines Jim.
