Caught a few
Went to pickwick for the first time had a nice time but only caught 4 I'm still trying to figure out how to set my boat up for spider rigging with all the stuff at the front of my boat I can't figure how to set the rod holders ill take pics later to show my dilemma
-
Fan them out and put the rod tips about 12 inches off the water.
-
You'll get it, just takes a little time on the water for experience.
-
Mount the rod holders close enough that you can grab a pole without haveing to lean way over
-
My problem is where to mount them I'm headed to the house to take a pic of it. I have a bass tracker panfisher stick steer so I got a bunch of stuff mounted up front all ready

Can anybody tell me what kind of rod holders I could mount and where on my boat
-
It is hard to estimate the distances from the picture. If you are wanting my suggestion, sit in the front seat and find the spot
-
oops- hit enter instead of space.......find the spot where you can reach your rods without leaning forward....after you find that then you can decide on how to mount it. The boat is going to be hard to spider rig from with 2 people. If you fish with a partner alot , you may want to look into side pulling instead.
-
Gotcha I figured that's what I was going to need to do

Get you some HiTek rod holders and mount them on the floor in front of your seat.....If you are going to run 4 poles on the fron then get a t bar set up with two holders...Two sets and mount one on the left and other on the right.....Mount them to the floor just in reach of your seat.....The guy at the back seat will have to spider rig out the back of the boat...same set up. You can order the rod holders here.... Home

Pineknot get 2 sets of the 9in Hi-Tec holders. I have mine mounted on that Cap on the sides about 6in in front of the steering stick and Throttle. I run 3 on right and 2 on left. If you only want to run 4 you could do one of Scottsdale 2 rod setup's on each side. Found that to be the most convenient and easy to reach. Mine are on a WarEagle stick steer.

Attachment 121033This is the one on left side by stick. Mine is a Hybrid set up but has the Hi-Tec holders on them. These are 9in. All i have to do is extend my arm and pickup rod. I use both 12 and 14 rods. It does bring your tips back a little closer to the boat. Dosnt seem to affect the fish to much. Hope this helps some.

Thanks cray that is very helpful going to try to get it set up and go weekend after next if I can come up with some poles
