By the way I put in at palarm.
When I put in at palarm I went back to my right. Pretty shallow it seems.
Just been fishing cypress with brown/ chartreuse
Put your boat back on the trailer and go to the river. Fish the outside ends of any rock dike. Been wearing them out in nets.
Palarm bay can be a death trap if u don't know where u are going. U should go towards the cypress in the middle, and steer clear of going the right. It's gets deeper as u go to the middle. If you have electronics and make it towards that cypress in the middle, u will find it gets deeper. That's where the art pond used to be before the lake was built.
Thank you conway slabber! What we calling deeper 10 fow?
Would arts pond be better than heading south?
Lol or west I mean
Well I better leave Conway to you guys!! I'm headed back to greers to try and redeem myself before dark!!
Lol! Another one bites the dust!!

If your still there, Adam's lake is not to far down the road, I'd try that cypress over in there. Oh and use your electronics to find the brush piles in the deeper water in that area.
Lol, that Cypress bite is tough to figure out, but it pays off when you do. It is still hit and miss for me.

There some good fish in the deeper water south/west from where you at. The cypress bite can be hard at time fishing has been off there with last week cold rains
Adams wasn't giving up any fish today, the only thing I managed was to remove my trolling motor with a stump. Thankfully it is an easy fix.
Don't feel bad my friend , I fished Conway this afternoon from 2:30 til 6:00 with not so much as a nibble, water temp was 52 which is a bit cool and it's been colder than that for several days , the first time I can ever remember fishing Conway and getting skunked! I tried everything I knew , that's why they call it fishing , you never know!
You can take the boy out of the country but you can't take country out of the boy
This is just too easy. What, just throw your bait (any bait will do) in the water and start reeling. They just jump on like chicken on a June bug. Not! Greg you made me feel much better. Just got home from Conway and managed to catch two but was pretty bummed out. Was up in the pool and didn't see anyone else doing any good either. Saw a number of boats going in to night fish. Hopefully things will pick up in the coming weeks.
Well you guys sure made me feel better! If crappie Greg didn't catch em I feel lots better!!
Must have been a slow day...?
I had a few buddies out...
One had 8, one had 15 last I talked to him, not sure what the other did?
I had the same luck Wednesday afternoon. Got Skunked!!
Count me in for a big ole goose egg for Conway yesterday as well. I fished Dix creek and never saw so many boats there as long as I have been fishin that area, with the exception being the opening day of duck season. You woulda thought the fish were hitting pretty good for the amount of folks that were there. I saw maybe a handful of fish caught.
