What size breaker do I need for a 36volt 101 terrova?
I got a 40 on mine
It's listed in the owners manual. I can't remember if it's a 50 or 60.
I just looked in the MinnKota manual....it requires a 50 amp breaker
Mine says 50 amp for the 101 as well.
Dang! Just checked the book. My 55#, 12 volt takes a 60 amp.
I've got an 80lb and it calls for the 60 amp.

More heat in the 12 volt.

Electricity 101. The higher the voltage the lower the amperage for a given load. Read your owners manual! And I promise you 6 gauge wire CAN burn smooth in two on an 80 amp breaker. If you want to run an 80 amp breaker you better have 4 gauge wire pulled. And the only boat I know of with 4 gauge wire is SOME of the Rangers.
