All right all you redneck engineers, lets see or hear how and where you clean your fish. I usually clean mine on the tailgate and rinse when done.

Just a chair and an ice chest. Going to buy a plastic folding table eventually.

Plywood on top of 55gal barrel. Been thinking about building something nice but then I could be spending that time fishing.
I ordered me a piece of cutting board (can't remember the web site) ....then made me one of these.

Back deck, wifes glass top patio table with large cutting board.
Ok thx cause polymer top i found ran $99 ouch.
Plastic cleaning table from Academy. Santa brought it. Works good. I put a light sanding on the top so it isn't so slick.
Since I work for a Hvac/plumbing company I have the opportunity to get some nice materials to build with when we did a remodel, a few years ago we remodeled a high end ramada inn, and I got a 8' marble counter top and sink with a fancy faucet. I had access to a electric Instantanious water heater, and I plumbed the sink and water heater in and now I have a real nice cleaning station with running hot and cold water for clean up, it's real nice for working deer meat as well. With a little bleach and hot water clean up is a breeze. Rigged the drain on the sink to run out to a French drain system.
Lkconwayguru,
does that come with a lazyboy recliner flat screen tv and remote control!!!
Tailgate method seem very effective for me.
I have this old sink with 2 foot sides, at our house in Mississippi, it has water at it, a plug in on one post, it has a roof over it, and a light for cleaning after dark. I have a couple boards we lay on the sink to fillet on.
But I do like to scale a few and cut the heads off, nothing like whole crappie.

Had a buddy of mine get in a snag a couple years ago and needed to move in with me. Returning the favor he built this for me primarily out of scrap stuff he had. Has wheels on it so I can roll it out of the garage. Nice to have the hole where I can set a bucket and slide the guts right off! Attachment 119602
I bought a small folding table with a plastic top at wally world for about $30 or so. It cleans up easily and lays in the boat when taking it to the lake. Had to add about 6 inches of removable pvc pipe to the legs so as not to have to bend while cleaning fish.
Attachment 119605 one inch angle welded frame expanded metal on top poly 18 inch top stainless sink on the left side. made this one on a power house job!!!! LOL!
Chair and a cooler.
X2 for the beverages!!!! :cheers2
I have a piece of acrylic sheet that set up on 2 cinder blocks on the tailgate. Makes the height right for me. I can have the dish pan for the fillets and the water hose there handy.
At our camp, I've got an old steel sink with the steel counters surrounding it. Water run to the sink. Makes it nice. Attachment 119612
This is the edge of the one at the camp. We put the old sink on an angle frame and filled in with 1/2" acrylic sheet.
SkiTrip has the Taj Mahal of cleaning tables.

Got an old welding table bulit of angle iron with expanded metal layed across. Then use a cutting board on it. Keep threatening to build a good one some day.
In kitchen on cutting board next to sink. Trash can beside me.
Cooler and chair
I have tried to find the site, but can't find it. I seen the site you probably looked at its seems close. I bought a 24" x 48" when I made my table. Seems like it was 75$. I had a friend that already had the pvc..All i had to do was go get the 4 way and 3 way T's. Very simple to make!!
Clean mine on the picnic table, l have a stainless sink that l am going to put under my side shed when I get around to building. Like some of the others were saying fix something nice when I get around to it. But if its not broke, don't fix it.

I always bring my filet knife with me and my table I got from Walmart, I put ziploc bags in my elec. filet knife bag and do it at the ramp everytime. When I leave the lake, I am done :biggrin
Not sure how or where the wife cleans them.....:Rofl
Any surface that is tall enough to not kill my back. Newspaper to clean on, wrap the trimmings up and bury in the flowerbeds.
I got tired breaking my back with the cleaning board not being at the right height so I got out in the back yard one day and measured what I thought was the perfect height for me and here's what I wound up with. Good thing is two people can clean at the same time. I use water so fish are clean and ready for the grease when I finish. Works for me!

What height is that? That looks awesome.
I don't have water run to my shop (yet). It's on my list, if I can stop paying for kids and parents bills..........
This, and a garden hose, is what I use, if I don't use the built in stations at the lake:

Pretty easy to see that it hasn't been used lately. :(
