Thanks to my friend Eric Walker (Crappieseeker) on this forum. Good things do come to those who patiently wait for them. When I get it i am gonna try some of those hot plastic and powder painting techniques that Bob Hinkle has been showing us all.:biggrin

Lets see a picture. I have been eyeing a 2inch paddle tail mold myself. Its a Jacobs Baits. The 2 inch Willow Tail.
It is in transport from Hollywood Alabama. It should arrive tomorrow. I will post some photos then.Quote:

Was that powder paint that was bleeding? I just got back from SC and was going to experiment with powder paint in the hot soft plastic.
Ship you messaged me back too late Monday to get it in the mail on Monday and I thought I had it in my stuff to mail today but somehow it got left out. I have it in the car waiting to hit the post office tomorrow. I am going to send it priority mail.
It will be OK Seeker.....Ships got at least three days of honey do's to catch up on anyway :Rofl

Five days. Clean the shed. Prepare the garden. Wash the windows. Clean the boat. Wash the cars. Shampoo the carpet. Take the shrub flippers to be sharpened. Rake the leaves.
snake it is a shad paddle tail mold. I posted some pictures of it a long time ago but it has been about a year or so.

rotflrotflSheeskalambooskabygollydadblabitall what would I do without friends like you and Snake River. Look for photos on Monday or Tuesday with what I come up with in color combos for this lure. This mold is priceless and will not be changed, distorted, drilled, cut, or any anyway wise or other changed by me. I have been looking for a mold like this ever since you guys got me into making soft plastic lures. The VERY FIRST soft plastic I ever tried to do was the Mold I made from Plaster of Paris of my favorite paddle tail lure. Of course I completely screwed it up and it looked like crap. The VERY FIRST mold I bought was the 3" paddle tail from Jannsnetcraft that I hand poured. It was not much better and I did not like the results from hand pouring them one at a time. Besides thhat lure was just not what I fished. I would always try and trim it down to a two inch model. Yep, It looked like crap also.Quote:

very nice looking ship you're doing a good job still would like to get that mold and we will definitely make it pretty for you we could put little marks in the body I think we could do that with a hammer and chisel.
