Everything is installed and working good except one thing. What's the trick on keeping the rod tips from beaten each other up?

Move the rod handles forward and see if that helps. Very nice rig.
Rookie nice looking rig there
Nice Seat setup. Where could I find a pair?
Midsouthman can hook you up.

What happens if you alternate directions of the rods? that way you have a tip, then a butt, then a tip? I don't use em, so I'm definitely no expert. Love the boat man.
Handles only fit one end.

How do you like the jet Motor. What size is it do you have enough power?
Love it its a 115 etec top end 40 mph with two people in four inches water. The only problem is big water it doesn't like waves. The key to buying a jet is when you think you are buying to much motor get the next one up. I learned this hard and expensive way.

I've got a 40hp Johnson jet and am told you lose about 30% of your power (speed). Friend in North Arkansas has one he calls a "40-30". Not sure, but I think he's saying it's a 40hp that generates the power of a 30hp???? Maybe some jet experts on here who can .
By the way, Rookie40, that's a nice looking rig! Nice lookin' lake too!
The simple way to do this is to give me all your rods then you can go buy a set of shorter stiffer rods. I would be will to help a brother out if you wanted to do this. It's how I roll.
