White bass on Lake Maumelle
I know they are no where near crappie, but they are fish and they pull hard and are starting to bite up the creek! Took me about 2 hours to catch 10 and the last 6 came in about 30 minutes. Unfortunately I had to go, the bite seemed to be picking up.

But these actually seem to be stripes or hybrids... ?
The whites in Conway have very faint if any stripes..
And are a lot broader from belly to back.
If not please explain.

They are definitely white bass. Stripers have not been stocked in about twenty years, and I have not had a legitimate report of one for over three years.

My buddy got into them today..
This is a white from the Arkansas River. They look the same from Lake Conway, but look much different from the ones posted above.
