Awesome!! The challenge of figuring it out til you finally catch them is what got me hooked on fishing. Great story and glad you hung in there and finally outsmarted that big ol bass. Pow! Bam! (Couldn't resist... Lol)
Awesome, Persistence and confidence always pays off in the long run, Just wish I had more of it....
It might have been the same fish.......but then again you might have some more big ones hanging out there to. Anyway looks like you had a great thrill of the hunt...great reading on this cold morning.
Pretty awsum but we all want to know....How much did it weigh?
Very nice for a "Gewber!!!"
I didn't have a scale, but it measured 24 inches long, and according to some estimators online it shoulda weighed about 8.5 pounds. I've caught big bass, but I have to say, this is my personal best bass to date. And yes, I released it so that I could catch it again next year when hopefully it'll be over 10 pounds! lol
good job
Great story. There may have been more bass there but I have caught the same bass twice myself on consecutive days. So I know where your coming from.
Way to hang in there and end up victorious!
great read
That's one big bass.
Nice fish Ed. WTG!!!
good to see that you caught the one that kept getting away
Great job on the catch! Did you notice any obvious hook set damage to the fish other than your present bait?
caught some of them green carps at Coffeen last week
Fun to read Thanks
Good read.
Good story but that was a good mess of green carp nuggets. On the serious side that was a nice fish and a good story.
Looking pretty good.
nice fish and story
