Awesome!! The challenge of figuring it out til you finally catch them is what got me hooked on fishing. Great story and glad you hung in there and finally outsmarted that big ol bass. Pow! Bam! (Couldn't resist... Lol)

I didn't have a scale, but it measured 24 inches long, and according to some estimators online it shoulda weighed about 8.5 pounds. I've caught big bass, but I have to say, this is my personal best bass to date. And yes, I released it so that I could catch it again next year when hopefully it'll be over 10 pounds! lol
Best leave them Green Carp alone and stick to real fishing !!!Quote:

caught some of them green carps at Coffeen last week
Can't say that I did. I should have looked for it, but I guess I was too excited trying to get pictures and measuring the fish and all before releasing him. I remember looking briefly to see if that jig I lost was in it anywhere, but no, I did not see it.Quote:
