Newbee finally here
Hi there the names Chuck and I'm glad I finally got logged on. I have only been trying 2 daze about 30 tries. You can tell I'm real computer savy lol. Anyway I been crappie fishing for about 49 years and have caught a few in my day. I guess you can tell I'm getting on up in age. I will tell you the Golden Years aren't all they are cracked up to be. hahaha I live down in the Deep South (Alabama) and have 7 lakes or rivers all in about 30-45 min drive. Younger folks can fish year round, I stay home when it's too cold, hot, or windy.
I own a 16 ft Alumacraft MV Angler with a 40 hp Mercury on the back a Minnie Koter on the front and an OLD man in the middle. Since I retired I should have alot of fishing time, but I seem to never have any time. I will start cutting grass anyday now through Oct. I repair my 2 trucks, 2 cars, boat, motorcycle, 3 trailers, and 2 houses 100 miles apart. In my spare time I work at my Shrine temple and am a F&M Mason.
Once again I am glad to be here and look forward to learning all I can about Ol Slab Sides.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I think I forgot to mention I live in ALABAMA "God's country". We live in a small community outside Montgomery called Eclectic. Great area for fishermen (and women too). I have several lakes and rivers within a 45 min drive and NO ice to break, except for the tea. Enjoy the spring fishing, Chuck.
