What do you mean learn??? Looks like you got it to me.
I spent a lot of hrs watching YouTube videos and reading tutorials online. I'm teaching and learning as I go. Thanks for the kind words.
I know nothing about taxi dermi. but I know a good looking fish mount, and that one looks great to me. atta boy

Looks like a wonderful job to me.
Looking good. Taxidermy is an art and looks like you have a knack for it.
Looks good to me. I'd hang it on my wall. Good job!
I can't see even one rookie mistake as you called them. I will say it looks really great to me. I would put it on my wall as advertisement for FREE WILL SEND YOU POSTAGE $.:ThumbsUp
Thanks everyone I appreciate it. I forgot to mention my crappie was caught at table rock lake. 13 1/4 inches 1.50 lbs. Good practice size...I'm still holding out for a 2 pounder, maybe some day.
Looks dang to me...you got the rest of that wall to fill!!!!!!!
Better be catreful about saying things like that or Beagle will bring his boat back.:biggrin
Back to THE Rock I mean.:Doh:
Very,Very nice.
I figured beagle might like that it was caught on table rock. I never catch a lot down there but always seem to find a couple good ones.
Speck- Grenada is on my bucket list. Maybe next year. Now I got a good excuse to head south. I need practice. Lol
I might have a video or two around the shop I can send to you for fish taxidermy, I focus on Mammals only. I will have to look and see where they are. Its a very good start and first fish.
Jigging15- if you catch a good one I will gladly mount it for you. All I would ask is you cover materials used. Like I said I'm a beginner so don'set your standards too high. Also, if you can keep an eye out for a good piece of drift wood to put it on that would help keep the cost down. I've been hitting the low water bridges this week looking for good pieces. With the rain we got Sunday it should help. I live in buffalo so not sure how I would get your fish? Maybe we could meet up and fish one day and I could.get it then...I always like to.fish lol
Heck of a start, looks great. :cheers2
Little skeeter...let me know what videos you have I just ordered 2 DVDs got them in the mail yesterday. Rienheart- crappie video and a Rick krane largemouth bass video. Thanks
