New guy here just saying hi

My name is Scott and I'm fairly new to Crappie fishing.I've been catfishing and bass fishing for as long as I can remember.I sold my boat last fall so am now a "landlover". Eventually once I get my kids through college and settled I can buy another one.Anyway I hope to learn some tecniques from all of the experienced people on here and maybe eventually meet some of you in person.

For the most part I fish by myself as I usually have days off during the week when all my buddies are working and my kids are in school.I fish a couple local ponds that produce a few crappie and I'm trying to learn El Dorado.I've tried my luck at Marion broken bridge area this winter with no luck.Anyway just wanted to say Hi.

Welcome, There is a wealth of knowledge here. Personally i have been a dedicated troller and drift fisherman mostly for walleye. Currently trying to outfit my toon for fishing crappie also. Limited funds definately slows that down. 2 kids in college can really take any spare change you thought you had laying around. lol. I could offer a decent trolling trip but sure couldn't offer any success on crappie. Pretty new here also lookin forward to meeting some of these folks this year. JD

Welcome Scott. There are several of us that fish El Dorado Lake so if you have questions, ask.... Also, I know some that always have open seats in their boats...

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.I would love to hitch a ride sometime this summer on someones boat,but not sure if the wife would be happy with that.I would probably be out looking for a new one for myself the following day....lol.
