Dang that's terrible to hear. Only takes one little slip up for even the most careful, experienced boater.
-
that was the one Rees said be careful out there guys--just thought I post it up--hate that kinda thing.
-
Thanks for posting it Kdavid, Mitch did loose his foot above the ankle. One of he cop guys said another boater saw it and got to him, wrapped the leg and foot with a coat or shirt and then corded it with a bungee cord. Took them over an hour to git to him after the call was made. 15 foot Jon boat with a 25 on it.

Hate to hear about the accident but I am glad he lived thru it, God was watching over him for sure, not to sound like a ninny but guys, ALWAYS WEAR YOUR KILL SWITCH!!!! Its on the boat for a reason.
-
Without that kill switch that boat can kill you!Don't leave home without it hooked up!Prayers going up for the Judge and everyone fishing today! Please all, Be Safe!
-
Heard about that on news, thats terrible, hope he recovers.
-
Prayers for his recovery. Gonna have to get in the habit of using the kill switch.

We talked to two guys at Enid ramp last night. They had come up fro Genada. They said they had just left the ramp just before it happened, stoped at convenience store or something and his mom was there and she got the call while they were there. They told her it had cut off part of his foot and news up here early this morning said he had lost part of his leg.
