I've had several M1 carbines. Not very accurate. The price seems very steep for that one.
I would think a mini 30 would suit ya if you looking for a carbine. Haven't priced them lately but should be lots cheaper than that.

Seems steep to me also. I saw some at the gun show in mint cond for much less. It may have some sentimental value to the seller. Example: I paid $20 for mine in 1965 from the NRA and wouldn't take twice that for it..
If u really want one u can fine a better deal than that...
I bought two of them at an auction a few years ago for $100 each
The last one I bought about 5-6 years ago, I paid $130
Just sold one that i bought to flip for 350 they have gone up but not that much.
Thanks guys!
Somebody thinks they worth a bunch

Mint cond. goes for about 500 to 700, standart run of the mill grade is about 100 to 300 depending on the buyer
Carried on of those things a long way around up-loaded aircraft in the 60s. You couldn't chase me fast enough to give me one today.
guns are going crazy high right now, especially AR's and AK's at gun shows!A fella sold his AR/DPMS for $2200!!! Before he ever made it into the show!!!! NUTS!! THANKS OBAMA!!!
I was looking at Gun broker and there are some priced higher than that!Check it out.M1 Carbine for Sale - Buy M1 Carbine Online at GunBroker.com
Geeeezzzz
That is four times more than the gun is worth
It's a seller's market for now. Set the price and see who wants it. I saw primers at $60 per carton today.
Market is crazy.:banghead
Theres a guy running a ad in the Tupelo Journal everyday......he is selling 22 long rifle ammo.....box of 50 for 30 bucks a box.
There are a few folks on here that apparently ain't priced a gun lately. Sks that 2 years ago would struggle to bring $200 now are bringing $5-600. Same with any gun that can house a high capacity mag. Prices have more than tripled in most cases. Cane, I ain't forgot about you, just had an unexpected death in the family and been busy. I'm still gonna hold you to your offer and ill bring the beer.
Seller's market makes it a buyers nightmare. If you want it, you will pay for it. No end in sight. This has lasted longer than anytime in our history and he
is still the #1 gun salesman in America. Just my thinking, but I don't see any improvement in the near future. I'm in contact with a number of folks looking
for deals, and the good deals are scarce. If you didn't have what you wanted when all this started, you will do without or pay the price the seller asks.
I started buying ammo several years ago and glad I did. Water and ammo may be the new silver and gold. I travel around checking a good number of places
that normally have ammo at a good price. I think the ammo is being sold off the docks before it makes it into the stores. Rumors abound.
I was quoteing actual prices, not obammy scare prices, if folks will chill out the prices will come back inline with reasonable in a few months, i may not know as much as some about crappie, but i do know guns.I'm one of those gun nuts the the neighbors are scared of...lol.
Slimey, gas aint going down:banghead
Its not what the gun is worth. Its what it cost to replace it!!!
I got around 30,000 I'd sell for half that
Slimey, with you working, figured you was busy. It's still here. PM sent.
I opened a craigslist local ad yesterday. 40 sw once fired brass 10 cent each, got 5,000. Another local dealer has it for .03 each, cleaned .04 each, polished .05 each and decapped .06 each. Pay these higher prices and reloads will cost as much as factory ammo.
From another forum, south MS. "I paid $17. with tax for 2 boxes of primers. "
At this point its about as economical to just chunk grenades rather than shoot...
