Good read
I get a little time I'll pm you on a couple of places to chase em some more, if Danny hasn't already. I remember the thrill of the chase. The one morning there were so many I had to anchor and leave the boat and wade to get close enough to cast. Dozens were in attendance. Good time of year for a flattie or two to show it's face. Good story Ginny, and thanks for stirring the old memories yet again.
Awesome story.... Thanks for writing it.... It's not always the catching but a lot of the times the things that happen when you are trying to catch and with whom you get to share these experiences...
good read
How many crappie is in a gaggle ?
good read
Great story :HandsClapping
The pics made it a believable story for sure. Got to be careful about some of 'em fishin' stories.
Great Ginny. Ill be there next season.
great read, you'll get them next time
good story
nice story
Thank you everyone. It was one of the most exciting mornings we've had fishing and we are looking forward to the next time. Right now the winds are 20-25 mph so we won't be sight fishing or any kind of fishing today. It's a good day to catch up on laundry and errands.
Skeetbum - we would love to know more spots if you have time... :-) That must have been a fun time when you waded to get close to that many. We are hooked on the goon! We are late to the party but lovin it here.
Thereheis - I looked it up and a gaggle of geese is 5 or more, but one gaggle of crappie is between 15-25... lol... at least for the purposes of my story!
Thank you Slab for posting the story. It's fun to share it with everyone on here as you all definitely understand the thrill of the chase... :-)

nice story
Great story! I agree that it is about the experience of fishing, the catching is a bonus. I'm still looking forward to catching a "gaggle" everytime I go out but for now I am content just going fishin'. That why I remind folks that "Fishing when done properly...makes life better"
Cool story!
you call that a fishing story? just wait until i have time to drop my story about Speck fishin in Lake Okeechobee and almost got gulped up by a 12ft Gator named BIG BOY
Thanks for sharing
