I'm fixing to rig out for spider rigging and was trying to decide on set up. I know I'm opening up a big can of worms, but I thought I would get some input from the masses that use or have used both:)

Cumberland if you want some rod holders anytime soon. Most places I checked are out of stock on hi-tek rod holders. Contact Midsouth for the Cumberlands.
Who is out of stock? I think Home has them in stock. Wait, I know they do!
Perotti built very few I would trade them for.
Talked to Scott and placed order with him. Was 99 percent sure that was the route I was going, but after all the positive feedback on Hi Tek I feel confident in my choice. Thanks for the response y'all:)
I sell hi-tec and use them also!!!!

Hi tec
I use the Tite Loks, but have used and like the Hi Teks, Cumberland, Driftmasters, and even the Smiths metal racks. It's all what you get used to, and for me, the ones that look the best on your boat. They ALL work good, but the Hi Tek is the best bang for the buck!!!!'

Cumberland rod holders are my rod holders of choice. Fully adjustable and requires no tools to adjust.
BTW, I'd like to test drive the SpyderLok, but I want 5 holders on my rack, and don't see a way to add the center rod holder on them.

I tried those and they were OK, and they did work alright, but with their original holders, I had a lot of slack in the rod holders with the left and right adjustment. Not with the gear, but with the rod holder bracket. The height adjuster had some slack in it also. My thumb bolts also stripped out. Might have been my fault trying to over tighten because of the slack I had.
Their new ones are a copy of the Hi Tek.

I'll go with my home made rod holders. I've got maybe 15 bucks max in these. Saved almost a 100 bucks to buy minners with. Have new ones on order. Will post when they come in.

Hi-Teks are as good as the best (most expensive) and better than the rest!!!
My take on Rod holders is there are several great brands out there and just about every one of them will serve you well.
