Well had to much fun yesterday, weather looked like this might be the last decent day for a while. Back to the gravel ramp and out to hunt for some slabs. Was not as lonely as yesterday, one boat followed us in, and saw two others on the lake. What a beautiful day, light wind sun and plenty warm! Caught a bunch of nice fish today many over 12". Caught one that I thought was a pig, came out of water at about 12" then the second hook came out and his twin was on it, I knew it was heavy! None over 15 but a few 14's. The bite was a little deeper and faster than yesterday it seemed, 4' for most. Kept 8 for a fresh fish fry this week while it is snowing!

Sounds like you got into some nice ones. Thanks for the lesson yesterday! Sounds like they were a litter better fish today. Can't wait to get back after them once all this snow is over with.

Was fishing with 1/0 mister crappie hook, bobby garland baby shad in white or pearl? With a minner, caught a good fish and when I took the hook out, this is what I had? Hook, baby shad, minner, and a shad hooked in the lips? I have no idea how this happened, best I can tell the fish regurgitated the shad and it ended on the hook? Put it back in like that and missed a good hit, shad and minner was gone?
