Dad used to say a properly set drag you can land a lotta big fish long as they don't hit the brush on you and usually they do. I'll take a cold water cat any day myself. He'd make the team along with the rest. I set lines in the Spring and Summer of the year now and then and that size is about as big as i want. I'm really after those 2-6LB catfish but we catch em that big fairly often.
Looks like some good catfish steaks on that one......bet he put up a good fight on a trolling rod, LOL!!
Those are nice to get from time to time.
