Got to do a little rigging for the first time today. Was a great day to be on the water not much wind or boat traffic. Don't think we saw another boat all day. Ended up with some nice fish. Bite was best in 16-10 fow 3-6 feet down on minnows. Even managed a bucket mouth.

Bucksaw was iced over. I am gussing Pretty Bob gravel ramp. Congrats on the fish. That rigging is a great way to cath them.
Crap!! Guess that is my answer. No fishing for me tomorrow. Don't want to burn a tank if gas to not fish.
Ya not very steep gravel ramp with 4x4.
Get ya a set if chains at wal mart and you can put in at any ramp you want.Quote:

nice report. you got some nice fish for sure. it was my first time rigging last weekend, and had a good time. my uncle caught a 6lb walleye rigging out it the channel last weekend and we both caught our limits of crappie. my old man wasn't as lucky fishing behind me, hope he does better tomorrow. good to see the cold weather hasn't pushed em deep.

Well I was with a seasoned rigger but I picked it up quick. I learned a lot but I'm sure it will be a challenge by myself. I have a hard enough time just driving the boat let alone messing with all the poles.Quote:
