It's beginning to grow on me.:help
My only fear is that it will only attract the younger small fishes who still like to hunt eggs.
I'm glad there are 2 of us out there. Maybe we'll get assigned to the same asylum:highfive
Here is a complete rig.

It's good to see "the rest of the story".
You got too much time on your hands.:juggle
OK now for my ultimate fish catching secrets to this rig.

Snell knot on the bare hook and of course quality inspected.
Dirty fingers. Carol was holding the hook while I took the picture:Rofl
Howdy Doug....don't tell her.
So is this like a "double shot" rig with a Minnow above the jig? Are the ping and yellow things egg sinkers? Just curios as to how you fish the rig. I've never seen anything like that over our way.

It is a "pretty" capps and coleman. Most of the time, I'll run a jig on the bottom and a bare hook on the top until I find out what they are wanting.
Thanks for the info. Pretty cool.

Man... If I had to do all of that to catch a crappie I'd go nutz!
Interesting.

Is that all you got today BRM? JPG got more game than that:Rofl
If I was getting to go fishing, there wouldn't be any sinker painting going on. I would buy them already painted. The fish up here in NEAR are high class fish and are more attracted to fancy stuff than those central arkansas fish. I bet no one at the tournament was fishing with painted sinkers. If they had been, there have been a different outcome. Besides over a dozen times last year, I had crappie just to float up beside the boat and I was able to dip them up. I suppose they struck at the weight and knocked themselves out.
I'm being good today. Lmao

Nice looking rig RCC
Thanks Russ. I posted trying to get a rise out of someone, but I believe the pink and chartreuse Easter sinkers has mellowed everyone out. I knew this thread was doomed when I couldn't get BRM to bite.
But it is kinda purty and also functional. Who knows, in the right hands it may catch a fish someday.
somebody convinced wm to sell them...saw them on the crappie bait rack...I think they are probably as effective as red hooks...
