It was a very nice day and good social gathering.
So iv got a ? Did yal get ur money back or wut lol im sry to laugh but thts a funny situation
We all did so well we got PAID!!!!
Back!!!!!
If we only would have been a couple minutes earlier. And it was a real cold ride.
MM we sure did!!
I still woulda liked to been there. I gotta say this, if the folks that fished it really didn't catch a crappie, the fish musta saw the tournament date and got the heck outta dodge.
I can understand , it sure was cool but got warm for awhile till the wind picked up over here in west-central Arkansas. Water temps appear to have dropped about 8 degrees here. How was it over there?
Yes, every team received their money back after no fish were weighed in. I will give every team credit where credit is due, those conditions were as tough as I have personally ever fished, and after it was all over, everyone was in good spirits. Plenty of good times and discussions after the tourney and it was good to see everyone again and meet some of the newer members.
Again, Jason did a fine job getting everyone signed up and entries taken. A very well ran tournament in my opinion.

MM u didn't get my good side
And yes very professionally ran tourney!!
I enjoyed meeting everyone. Hope i can make it to more. It was rough, but i totally enjoyed fishing a new body of water and meet some great people.
Thanks jason and whom ever helped with tourney. Yall got a good thing goin
Still wished I would have had all my electronics ready to come over today, but I will be ready for the next tourny!
Walker you could have came with no poles and done as good as I did!!! But it was a good time wish we all would have just went and ate lunch at noon instead of stayed!!!' Next time fish next time!!!
Hey Mike. I see your boat with the Slick Rod Racks.
Great Job guys...I knew it was going to be tough but not that tough. LOL Looks like you all had a great time and thats what counts.
I dont remember my feet ever being as cold as they were yesterday. Ill bet it was close to noon before they fully thawed out and felt like they were supposed to again.
I thought Jason did a heck of a job on the entries, etc. He had entry forms printed up with Central Arkansas Crappie Association on em and they already had our name and phone number so all we had to do was hand him the entry fee and sign your name. Very professional.
Ill have to wait to give an opinion of how he handles a weigh in though. :tongue
Among a few other things thats what Im blaming it on. A week or so ago the water was 49-50. Yesterday we found some that was 38 and never found any warmer than 43.Quote:
Water temps appear to have dropped about 8 degrees here. How was it over there?
We also had a front come through with alot of rain so the river was rising pretty fast.
Plus it was clear.
And high pressure.
And it was cold.
And the water was muddy.
And I didnt wear my lucky socks.
I also only had about 25 different colors of jigs with me so I never found the one they wanted.
In all seriousness though it was fun and a memorable experience. I got to meet several people from the site and Im sure I would have recognized more names but I just didnt get a chance to meet or talk to them.
I think the CACA is off to a good start and should continue to grow and do well as long as we have people willing to put the work into it like Jason and Im sure a few others did for this one.
Amen that was the first time I felt like the winningest looser!!!!
HAhahahahah Attachment 116886
Go dog!!!!!
Ur just pointing at me!!!!
Hahahahahah
Sure wish I could have made it , ended up having to work a half a day so had to miss out on all the fellowship , don't look like I missed much as far as the fishing goes though , just goes to show you though , you put some of the best crappie fishermen in the state on a lake with those kind of conditions and even they can't catch em, tough to say the least , good job guys I will definitely make the next one and plan on fishing all of the tourneys the rest of the year
You can take the boy out of the country but you can't take country out of the boy
Im glad you'll had fun.
Since I have not fished a tourney before I really had no comparison. That being said I thought everyone were top-notch friendly and that the tourney was put together well. Jason, did a good job and made my first tourney a memorable one. I will fish in another one if my schedules match up.

Y'all might of set a Guinness World Record. Lowest weight ever in a legitimate crappie tournament. ;-)

I would like to say that I am proud of the Crappieholic Pro Staff team for catching a good sack of fish in such harsh conditions........now if we can just get y'all to the weigh in ON TIME......lol
I wouldn't say good sack but atleast we had 1 in live well
