I can't find minnows locally. Our last trip down, some buddies brought some to us from Somerset. Do any of you guys know where around Green River a feller could pick up some minnows on Saturday morning? We will be coming via BG Parkway, down to Campbellsville.
I know there is a store close too Holmes bend marina tha sells them, not sure of the name.
Fast Track gas station across from the State Park Road had them earlier in the week. Usually get their shipment in on wednesdays. Its the gas station on the right on 55 across from the Marathon.

Are you all doing another two day event or just Sat? Don't know where you are launching from but if it is from Holmes Bend, there is Green River Bait & Grocery on the corner of
Egypt rd and Knifley rd (551). From the kamper cabins where you all stayed last year heading out away from the lake, Egypt is the first road on the left.
GRB&T #1-270-384-5206 He is open 364 days, closed only on Christmas. Good place for bait if using the Holmes Bend ramp. Good luck and safe fishing!

You got Patterson's at the cross roads (551 & 76) a few more miles down from Eqyqt.. Good food and live bait. good luck!
Dutch552 did you guy's fish down by the bridge today?
I started the day at the bridge with a whole bunch of short fish and a few keepers. The farther upriiver I went the bigger the fish got. Ended up with a limit by 3:00 fishing some spots up in the river that I haven't been to in a long time. It ended up being a gorgeous day and it was fun finding some old spots and marking some new ones. How did you end up today?
Well i was on a test run with a new/old boat i'm trying to get READY. Things went good, boat ran out good, got a few fish.
Going to stay with it tomorrow!
Stopped at GRBT, got 100 minnows and proceeded to feed the feesh. Kept 40 out of125 or so fish. Going to give it a whirl again in the morning. Again, thanks for the assistance!

Yeah boy. Man don't get a break anywhere. Now I am boatless. I have it at a fabricaters shop having a deck extension put on it. After I get it back its time to get it wet and kill some minnows.
