Keep it over there. Don't need it here. This weather is nuts.

Sleeting off and on here in NLR. I was going but wife got off work and make me a list of thing I need to do before it get bad.
Well unless you have an aircard on your cell phone, you ain't! :Rofl
I'm going to admit something. Since my heart attack and all those blood thinner medicines, I can barely stand fishing in the cold. Somehow, I can bundle up and sit in a deer stand, but fishing is another story. Have to take gloves off, and use hands more, and all that. I just am not comfortable at it. I don't have to fish on weekends (thus, my website), so I can usually find a day to go that has semi decent weather.
But I admire all you young studs that brave the weather just so you can tell me where the fish are biting!!!!
I'm not going today but I will have my dad and my son out this weekend.
Went out scouting yesterday i think i may stay in today and prep the boat!!
I can go most any day I wish but today a wish not.:fish
Yeah, but you're closer to our favorite lake than I am.
And way better at it.........takes you a lot less time to limit out. Me? Usually only takes me a month. :biggrin
Wish I could, had to work today.

I'm going! Wish me luck
i cant go till after march 15 thats my last day of radiation treatments then im booking a camp site at carter cove for a couple of weeks
It has been sleeting off and on in Texarkana, I have no desire to be out there in it if I could go.
Sleeting in Pine Bluff. Just made my order of meatgetter jigs. Off day is friday will try it then, I'm sure the fishing will be great then after all the rain!
I find that 3 pm is my magic time when this weather does its thing, so I'm gonna be leaving here shortly.
I'm headed out shortly myself..... Sure hope something is biting!!

I DID!!!!!!!! The weatherman in Springdale only forecasted a slight chance of snow (30%) until 2:00 p.m. then 70%. At 10 am it started snowing hard oops time to go. It took me 35 minutes to drive 8 miles on 412 east of Springdale. I will not go into all the details but pretty hairy. Good to be home - safe and warm. Oh by the way, only caught 2 fish - they bit good yesterday. So much for weatherman accuracy!!!
2 inches of snow in Dardanelle now. It would have been a super day to have gone. I thought it was going to be windy. However yesterday was a good day at either end of lake D.
45 miles west of me, and all we have is wet streets.
Weird.
I'm so ready for spring.
Not very many dependable weather men out there other than Garrett Lewis. We have a system here to tell how bad it is going to be throughout the day. If Garrett keeps his jacket on its a normal day, if he takes it off there is a possible chance of bad weather, if his jacket is off and his shirt sleeves are rolled twice there is bad weather close and the ultimate if his sleeves are rolled up past his elbows your butt better be holed up in a safe room cause all heck is breaking loose!
Attachment 116556Where was this at during duck season?
I went out today, but didn't do much fishing. I downloaded new software to my Humminbirds and just went and did some setting adjustments and a little scouting. Trolled over some stuff I already new was there to see how it looked. Still trying to learn the spider riggn stuff. I got to leave my stick steer at home more and get this WE Predator Broke in!!!!!
I laid down took a nap, fished the whole time even caught me a limit. Woke up and had to work. Ugh!
Two bites for me. I stayed till 5:15 and had enough.
Ate a bite and took a nap.:Rofl
