Mike, stop by SANDYS, they'll be open by 6 or earlier. Minners by the pound and better too. I never liked them by the dozen especially when they count them.

Bought 8 ounces last Saturday at Sandy's...$10...and the ones I didn't use are still alive this morning. I gave them a little fish food and added some water to it last night just to see how long they would be alive. Kept them in my shrimp bucket with an aerator on. Out of the few dozen left only six were dead this morning. Moral of the story is Sandy's minnows are the best IMO. Don't know what they put in their water....hummmm...
I'm setting them free this morning in Harris on the way to the office...just so nobody thinks I'm a minnow kidnapper...
With specks the size of jaws in there that is minnow murder.:biggrin
