Good mess ya got there. Many short fish?
Nothing wrong with that.

Give it a week or 2 and it should be real good.
Somebody will be back on the boat.
Mark, that's exactly what I was thinking. This is just pay back for all the times we post pics while he's cruising the river. I used to feel a little sorry for him during those times. No more! Lol
Dang Terry, you're killing me! Let's hope for about 4 weeks and they get wide open :biggrin
Good job. When is Big Bear opening up? My brother starts working on March 1st.
Nice limit!
You obviously know what you are doing. :highfive I still need lessons. :dono
You can tell Poole was gone today. Great fishing.
I lost it last week when I had to work Ha.
I had posted on site about getting some info for a good crappie trip to Kentucky this spring. Some one answered me back and said you would be good to get for a guide. Is that true?? Any good ideas on nice places to stay where you can launch and dock a boat??
I would say it depends on the time of year you go - when the crappie are hitting in the spring most likely you will see bunches of boats on the good spots.
Later in the year a guide could make the difference between a good trip and a poor/disappointing trip. You might spend allot of time searching for fish and get frustrated.
I see many guides get around $300 a day now and that could be a big factor - if you can afford it try and get the guide the first day you are going to fish and pick his brain for info making sure to take notes and mark your lake map - maybe he will give you some GPS numbers also.
Give em HECK Terry,:Rofl but save some for me when i get down there.:fish
Terry, I finally finished rigging my boat tonight and it's ready to hit the water tomorrow. I'll keep the fish busy for you while you're gone. rotfl
Weather should be getting better now
I've just about completed my process for my Guides lic. I should have it completed soon. I'm on the boat right now and they may be at the house already.
I don't know about how good a guide I'd be but I catch a few. :biggrin
I stay at Big Bear Resort when I'm home off the boat. They are reasonable and have about everything ya need.
I have a Camper there and basicly live there when I'm in off the boat during camping season and I try to stay in contact with the fish.
I don't really want to do any advertising on here but will be listing on the Local Guide post as soon as I get done with my process.
I have a job as a Towboat Pilot so I'm gone 6 months out of the yr and the "Guide" thing will be a sideline until I retire in a few yrs.
My rates will be based on my production. I fish for fun! :biggrin
I think your probably right ole buddy. Have a safe trip.

First trip of the year. It was a cold son of a gun out there yesterday.
