Probably has something to do with national signing day and them signing the no 1 recruit.

Where's DD when you need him to tell you TSUN sucks. And if they don't suck, then they must've cheated!
Yep
Deep pockets can buy some recruits... Guess MSU will have to start paying to play... We missed out on SCAM Newton and that hungry kid at TSUN...
Didn't cost em nuthin but 2 scholarships...least on the official set of books.
Wannabe...
One of the recruits (treadwell) ya'll had up 2 weeks ago posted this on twitter then removed it real quick. This was taken ON his trip. OUCH NOT his Official trip but he went back the next week so no money could be given to him by the school for the trip. He lives in Chicago or somewhere up north and his mom is poor. SOMEONE bought him a plane ticket and gave him several hundred bucks in cash to go. HUMMMMMM
Scam Newton wanted 180 grand from us and we wouldn't pay him. Well, his dad. LOL
for the record, Nkendashian (Cross between Nkendichie and drama queen Kim Kardasian, LMBO) got 300 grand for signing. That's from someone CLOSE to the situation. REAL CLOSE
LOL, Dangit. the NCAA is already asking round Oxford and you go and delete a key piece of info GRRRRR lol
The old "they whipped our arse so they must be cheating" defense? With a little dose of conspiracy theory thrown in for good measure?
If you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin!
What's that good ole phrase you only hear in starkville oh yeah GO TO He!! Ole Miss. Oh yeah HAIL STATE
We don't know what we don't know!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really gets to me when people start throwing these accusations around which hold no merit/ I have a son at MSU and do pull for them over Ole Miss nut I would never say things like this just because they went to ole miss instead of my school. I bet if they chose MSU everything would have been fine and no cheating at all. I promise you the NCAA has people who watch this stuff and know what is going on. I believe they know a lot more than a MSU fan that is upset because they did not get the good recruits. Seems to me like its a bad case of people being sore losers. The last person named allready has a brother playing for ole miss so that was not a very big surprise. Oh yeah HAIL STATE!!
Go rebels. The smell of victory.
Dude, we had a top 20 recruiting class so we got some very good recruits. I just telling thuth. This class for TSUN has folks looking into it big time. Someones uncle got a $50000 new truck, cash AND hookers from Memphis were flowing on 2 different recruiting weekends. That's a fact. Alcohol was given to a many a 17 year old on those visits as well. Those things I know, days a fact, Jack
Can't rely on those guys from the NCAA tho. They are under the microscope right now themselves on some under the table actions they did themselves to uncover some colleges but didnt tie up all their loose ends.

Why don't they scrap college football. Just payum' to play in a minor league, if they make it pro they make it, if they don't, tough. They can save their money and go to college at nite if they think they need an education. I just bet college tuition would be a lot cheaper without those big stadiums and everything that goes with them.
yall dont get ya panties in a twist, Bama is still ranked #1 in recuiting....ROLL TIDE
The four scariest words in college football......You play Alabama next!!
That's what I'm taking about, jack....RTR!!!!
Ohio state had the number 1 class
I'm not so sure about that feelay, they seem to spend more than they take in,kinda like congress. Besides it chaps your butt to sit in class every day and earn a degree, and some of these players get one and can barely spell MSU or Ole Miss.
Your right about that feesh

It's not really about crying over spilled milk so to speak because we were never in the running for Nkimdiche. Now if Jones would have flipped at the last second and TSUN tried hard to get him to come then we would have been pissed. The main reason they got Nkimdiche is because they signed his brother and don't think that they were not thinking about that when they signed him. Turns out the brother became a started and a top linebacker in the SEC which no one really expected or he would have had a lot of other offers so it worked out great for them and there is nothing wrong with doing that and a lot of school do it. Hell I am sure if MSU saw an opportunity to do it we would too. Personally I am happy for them. They got a great recruiting class and have brought a lot of national attention to MS. However I hope it is on the up and up because if it is no then they will bring twice as much negative attention.
Lets look at this a different way. If some baseball player comes out of no where and hits 50 HRs in a year and has been playing in the league for 5-10 years and has never done anything like that what is the first thing everyone is going to think? Man that boy put in a lot of hard work...? Nope you are going to say smells like steroids or PEDs or whatever you want to call them. Same is true on the recruiting front. If a 7 win team that has never been a national power all of a sudden puts up a top 5 recruiting class and beats out the two time national champs in recruiting him along with LSU and others and they get the top O-Lineman from out of state and the top WR from way out of state then what is everyone going to think???
exactly. There is money flowing into kids pockets. Not saying other schools don't do it but in this case it is a massive red flag. Only time will tell.
It sure is nice being the talk of college football across the nation. Say what you want people I promise if we did anything wrong the NCAA will not hesitate to give poor Ole Miss the death penalty, this is a fact not speculation. As for the accusations of money flowing in Oxford, you would be correct it is called the Foward Rebels Campaign you may want to google it and then ask yourself where Ole Miss boosters money is going. Don't worry though folks, we aren't world beaters we just had a very exciting day for our program and are proud of what Hugh Freeze puts on the field. However it is only one recruiting class and last time I checked the big boys do this year after year, you may want to worry about all this if we do it again next year.
Actually it's the "Foward Together Rebels" campaign.
[QUOTE=taygolf;2197146] If a 7 win team that has never been a national power[/QUOTE
You must be a young feller.:biggrin I can remember when OLE MISS was a national power. However, I don't recall State ever being one.:twocents
Just being honest. I know all about the Forward Rebels bunch. I know more than some think and ole miss is being looked at right now. It's fixing to get bad up there
The so called investigation you refer to wouldn't happen to be the Jamie Holder investigation would it?
Oh and by the way I saw your obnoxious post of the vehicle and paying Nkemdiche. Who's relative received the vehicle? Why wouldn't the Nkemdiche brothers not just want to play together? Being that we "pay" our players how did Chris Jones end up at State?
That's all irrelevant, the really important thing is MISSOURI has the best crappie fishermen!!!! :)
