Red beans and rice

They look right, I can smell them from here.

They really smell good now that they have been simmering for about 30 minutes

I tell you I wouldn't try cooking red beans without Blue Runners. There's no telling how many cans they sell in New Orleans in a day.

Looks good "G". When I make mine I start out with (dried) small red beans and slow cook them in chicken broth.

Garlic bread Sammy. The WalMart in Pontotoc did not have the Blue Runner creamed red beans There are two WalMarts in Tupelo and only one of them has them. I looked at Piggly Wiggly in Pontotoc.....they didn't have any either. But when I found them I stocked up lol.

The Meridian Wal Mart on Hwy 19 has them Sammy.

I can do without red beans. I only have 3 packages of fish left. With my fishing pard out, MS crappie might be all I get.

Its in the recipe stick at the top of the page....best danged recipe that I got....all my good recipes have come from Scott all except the one you gave for coon balls lol
