I vote Gene c and fish doc should let us know when to bash. They're locals and great anglers, if anyone could hone in on the best time frame it would be those two.

March,you trollers should have best shot, but april is another story,docks,laydowns,and brush, to me any day except sundays is great,however you all are the regulars so its up to you all. I hope that i will be able to go but will know more monday after 3 visit with dr's,i feel fine now but they found fast growing cancer and don't know how far its gone yet

My two biggest crappie at Buggs were caught on March 27 and April 2. (both were 2lbs 9oz)
It would be nice to turn it in to a Crappie Camp. Show up on Friday, camp and party at Occoneechee (or where ever). Get up and fish on Sat and go home after that.
I might do that (and I'm getting old). Anybody else interested?

Generally, we all met at the tackle shop that was (Buggs Island Bait and tackle) right at the bridge in Clarksville. Plenty big parking lot. Meet and greet. Everyone left and went to launch where ever you wanted. Be back at weigh in time. Your choice of 5 ramps pretty close by.
