Should have been out fishing, I airmailed your jigs at lunch. Lol
I'm glad you posted up. This was some pics concerning some PM's and I had intended on adding some transducer pics as well. I thought that I had already done it. I guess I'm going crazy.

Is your motor raised up, shallow drive, or is that the position you normally run it? Thanks for the pics, man! Your pictures of the metal give me hope for being able to build my own side rod racks! Also I'm planning to initially put that 998 right in front of me on the right side when I'm back there running the big motor. Is that aluminum?
One of the pics is with the transom saver on. I did drop the motor to the normal running position for the other couple of pics. Let me know what you want for the sides and I'll see what I can come up with. Those are actually for rducks.
BTW, your PM box is full. Discovered this when I tried to pm you about these pics that I previously failed to post. I feel my brain has let me down...
Attachment 114917 Here is a couple I was supposed to put on a week or so ago
Homemade to fit groove in a Grizzly Bass Tracker, RCC, hope you don't mind
Absolutely do not mind Steve. Those are really nice and another way to "git r done". Did you get the brackets bent, or bend them your self?
I like that boat. How wide?
RCC, I had a buddy bend them with a brake press. Lots of ways to use that groove . The boat is that one I had over at Nimrod. 16x54 bottom. Going to sell it pretty soon.
Attachment 114919Attachment 114920 This is what I built for my 17x54 for spider riggin. Not exactly over the front but it works! I wanted where I can remove easily with two screws. I was going to do what RCC did, but found that it was too far from the seats too reach. Hope this helps.
Those look good and are alot cheaper than the ones I had a guy machine and weld for me.
RCC those look like they are working.
Steve your boat is looking good!
RCC: What are those mounts for?
Mine are for a couple of driftmaster rod holders. The 2 in the brown paint I mailed of to some Mississippie hand that when I asked him what he was gonna use them for, said "If I tell you I'll have to kill you":biggrin . All I know is they are going on a Wareagle 754. (to be honest, I assume he is gonna put rod holders, but I don't know. He may be using them for duck blind brackets. He said just to leave them long)
10-4 Firecamp on those on the side being to far to reach on a 754. A guy needs some dual seats and they would be OK. Even on my 542, I have them tilted just slightly in and it is perfect.
RCC,
When mounted are the rod holders inside your boat and out of the way when not in use.

RCC, your pics inspired me to make a few of my own. I have four ready to mount on my boat tomorrow.
C.J.
Here are a couple of pics that may show you how close you are. The boat is a Wareagle 542 and I have been told that I can't get any more out of this boat:biggrin. The standard fishing configuration back to front is 4 pole home brewed rod holder on the port side of the back seat that doubles as a mount for a hb 798 and also doubles as the tip holder for the rod racks while in transport. Left side is the 2 layer rod racks over top of the gun box. Which remove with 2 pins. The lid of the gun box opens right underneath the lower rack of rods. At the start of the lower deck is the 2 home made mounts we have been talking about. On the front deck is a 4 pole driftmaster with a home made mount for a HB 718 At the very tip of the bow is a Terrova 55 on a raised mount. In transport this lays back over the top of the driftmaster and one of the rod holders can be adjusted to support the shaft. There is not much wasted space. The person fishing the bow usually my wife can easily fish 6 or 8 poles all within easy reach. If I am solo, I like to get a 5 gallon bucket of minners up between my feet so when the fishing gets really slow I can watch them and not be bored:biggrin
Here is the port side front showing how much room you have with the rods racked. Unracked, you have a little more room. Some times you have all this junk and really all you need is a zebco and a 5' rod.:fish

I am new at this, how do you put picture on this thing, send me a reply to fazrmer1940
Jerry, I'll call you tomorrow and see if we can get you fixed up on pics
that would be good, it has been hard for me to get the hang of this
Oh I think I know what he wants to do with them. Your stuff is just a small portion. He sent me a email little bit ago with about 3 days worth of stuff to do:yikes
I hope you don't mind me doing a little copying. Those are some neat brackets. I could use a couple more on my boat.
