Once every 3 months should suffice.

If you use them, Don't fill them till after you charge them so you won't boil them over!I charge mine, then check them for water on every trip! They will last a lot longer if you keep those plates covered!Just the way I do it!:dono
I check mine about every 3-4 months.
I never check mine. I sell em first. Lmao

If you used 1/2 gal per battery you might want to start putting a little in the cookie jar every week starting tonight. And don't get on here whining about them batteries just won't last as long as they use to:deadhorse
did you check your bilge pump thats what I want to know:biggrin
Yep....thats not good for them....if you let them get that low.....it hurts them

Also check the bottom of the batteries for damage. The battery that Handi brought back had a pin hole worn in the bottom of it from debris trapped in the tray or a loose strap, and that cell was leaking and dry, and caused the malfunction of that battery. If the batteries aren't tight in the tray or box, the bouncing and the weight of the battery can cause that to happen if debris gets under the battery. His was the first one Ive had like that, and we exchanged it anyway, but in the future, make sure your trays and boxes are clean, and no screw heads sticking out. Just FYI

Check mine at least once a month.
Dang. How thin is the casing on them cart batteries? I wonder if they're made to stand up to the abuse like a marine battery.
None of todays batterys are as thick as they used to be.
Well ok then--check them every week now.
not quit a JADA moment yet-just getting ready for the season.
and no I won't come on whining if the batteries go t up--I know who to blame:)
Donnie--I went over the bilge and stuff yesterday so we are good--next is the trailer bearings.
Good job KDavid......I had breakfast with Donnie this morning and I can tell ya....he is a little skittish these days
Heck I'm even changing the brakes on the truck so Donnie will feel safe :D

Trying to understand why do you have to check the battery wate so often?I feel like I fish as much as the next man and very rarely have to add water.Sounds to me like some should check there chargers. Not trying to be a smarta$$ just not understanding where all yall's water is going.
Case isn't thin, but the battery weighs 99lbs each. If they get loose, and get a screw head, rock or a piece of solid debris wearing on them, it's just a matter of time before the case rubs through, especially in rough conditions. Like I said, this the first one I've had to replace, but at least MY warranty is good. Handi got a new battery, and I got a core charge back for the old one.
