Wilbur if ya have any leftover dont throw it out, just put it in bowl with a lid and you can put it in a skillet a few days later and reheat it, if ya need to thin it just add a little more milk.

Ahhh sausage gravy. An old gentleman (now disceased) showed me how to make tomato gravy one morning when we were cooking breakfast for a bunch of guys. I had never heard of tomato gravy, but it is made just like sausage gravy except he cut up fresh ripe tomatoes (home grown) and cooked them in the gravy to add liquid instead of milk. He used milk too, but augmented it with the tomatoes and simmered it for a while and man it was good.
